Abstract

This article presents the main advantages and experience of the formation of digital competence and the use of new pedagogical approaches in the training and education of future biology teachers, research results. It is currently important for future biology teachers not only to be able to assimilate a lot of information, but also to be a qualified, high-quality specialist who is able to apply knowledge in real life and meet the requirements imposed by educational institutions. Therefore, the theoretical justification of the formation of the digital competence of a future biology teacher in a mixed learning environment, the determination of its effectiveness through research based on the development of techniques, determines the significance of the article. The definition of an effective research method was carried out on the basis of a literary review. To do this, through the University Library System, the selection of articles by researchers from all countries of the far and near abroad was carried out. This article will describe an online course implemented in a mixed learning environment, focused on the formation of digital competence of future biology teachers. In particular, the methodological system for organizing and managing the online course of the digital subject environment "development of biology in a digital educational environment", the achievement of students' experience in mastering and applying digital technologies in a mixed education environment. The results of the research work are important in organizing work to improve the system of digital secondary education and increase digital competence. The issue of providing students with suitable online platforms for teaching lesson management methods has been fully considered. Practical significance of the research: in the development of the MOODLE digital educational environment (Modular Object Oriented Digital Learning Environment) in the discipline “Methodology of teaching biology”, the content of the discipline consists of lectures, practical exercises and modular tasks for students to perform independent work. In conclusion, the advantages of the services and the effectiveness of the use of educational platforms are described in detail in the article.
