Abstract

The rapid digitization of education and the widespread use of instant messaging applications among schoolchildren are creating new opportunities for providing educational support in a familiar and accessible environment. This research paper presents the development of NurBAI, a multifunctional educational Telegram bot designed to support school learning through artificial intelligence, automated quizzes, career guidance, daily motivation, and voice interaction. Unlike many existing educational bots that are focused on a single subject or function, NurBAI combines several educational microservices into a single system within a single chat interface. The bot is implemented in Python using Telegram Bot API libraries and integrates external services, including large language models for generating answers, Google Sheets for managing dynamic quiz content, as well as speech-to-text and text-to-speech modules aimed at increasing the accessibility of the system. The solution offers a modular architecture, easy maintenance, real-time content updates without the need for redeployment, and an inclusive design. The developed system demonstrates the potential of using a lightweight messenger-based platform as a comprehensive educational assistant that provides timely academic support, motivation, and career guidance to school students.
