Abstract
In this scientific article, the features of vocabulary formation and development in children with hearing impairments are thoroughly analyzed. Works and studies of various authors from different time periods, their methods, and perspectives on this relevant issue are scrutinized. Additionally, contemporary methodologies employed for enhancing vocabulary in this specific group of children are examined. The outcomes of this research will help identify the most effective approaches applicable in the corrective-developmental process for fostering vocabulary in children with hearing impairments. This article provides a comprehensive overview of studies aimed at vocabulary development in this category of children, spanning from a retrospective examination of works by Soviet scientists to the modern analysis of methodologies employed by modern researches.
