Abstract
This article examines the possibilities of using artificial intelligence tools in the development of soft skills among future primary school teachers. In the modern educational environment, the preparation of professionally competent teachers with flexible thinking and the ability to effectively use digital technologies has become one of the most pressing challenges. The paper clarifies the concept of soft skills and describes the role and pedagogical potential of artificial intelligence tools in their development. The study involved a survey of students enrolled in the educational program “Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education,” as well as practicing primary school teachers, in order to determine the level of soft skills development and their attitudes toward the use of artificial intelligence. The obtained results were analyzed, and based on the findings, effective ways of applying artificial intelligence tools to enhance communication, critical thinking, collaboration, and self-development skills of future primary school teachers were proposed. The research findings confirm the importance of the purposeful integration of artificial intelligence tools into the teacher education system.
