Abstract
This article examines the issue of teenagers’ interests in and addiction to ludomania (gambling addiction) and explores prevention measures. The pedagogical and psychological conditions for preventing teenagers’ gambling addiction are theoretically substantiated, and its pedagogical conditions, prevention structure, criteria, and indicators are identified. The study aims to theoretically justify the ways to prevent gambling addiction in teenagers , develop a methodology, and test it experimentally. The research analyzes the growth rate of ludomania in society, specifically its prevalence among teenagers. Sociological factors contributing to gambling addiction among young people are identified, and a list of psychological services for prevention is developed, constituting the study’s novelty. The article emphasizes the importance of preventing ludomania among teenagers, explaining risk factors, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and strengthening psychological resilience. In conclusion, the social harm caused by teenager ludomania is summarized, and a sequence of preventive measures is tested in practice.
