Abstract

The article discusses the types of alternative energy sources and a new method of obtaining energy from rain using piezoelectric elements. The ecology of the earth is in critical condition due to centuries of use of unclean energy. Traditional energy sources such as burning coal or using natural gases are unclean energy and cause great harm to the environment. Global warming, air pollution and other environmental problems have prompted humanity to create new and new sources of alternative energy. However, while alternative energy is not able to completely replace traditional energy, people must develop green energy and come up with their sources. This article describes in detail 10 types of alternative energy sources, their pros and cons and the level of development in the world. Also, the purpose of this article is to talk about a new individual method for generating electricity from the kinetic energy of rain and the future application of this idea. The article describes the goals, methodologies, results and conclusions of this work. The new method is a film that consists of 50 piezoelements. Piezoelectric elements are connected to each other to produce more voltage to convert into electricity. Rain is mechanical energy that causes piezoelectric elements to deform. When deformed, piezoelements generate current. The film can be installed on the roofs of houses or umbrellas so that on rainy days the energy can be used for lighting. This method of generating energy is suitable for rainy areas. The article provides information about the future applications of the new method.
