The system of professional development as a factor in the development of the professional competence of teachers

Abstract

Innovative processes, an increase in the rate of obsolescence of knowledge and skills in conditions of constantly updating production, priority areas of state policy in the field of education entail an increase in the need for professionally competent teachers. Professional development becomes a key element, the main task of which is to form innovative approaches to the implementation of the tasks set. The search for new methodological approaches to solving problems raises the question of the need to study the historical experience of organizing non-formal education for teachers, to identify their mutual influence as interrelated elements of the educational system as a whole. The article presents the results of the analysis of international experience in building a professional development system, the importance of advanced training courses for the formation of professional competencies on the example of the work of the Department of Musical Disciplines of the M.Kozybaev North Kazakhstan University.
