Eurasian Scientific and Methodological Journal “East – West” for master and doctoral students – an international scientific and methodological edition. The Journal was established in 2022. The primary thematic focus of the journal is the coverage of the content and research results of Kazakhstani and international scholars in the fields of economics, science, and education.

Scientific, analytical, and methodological articles reflecting the outcomes of fundamental and applied research that align with the Journal’s themes are accepted for publication, as well as review articles with a clear indication of the authors’ conceptual standpoints.

The main sections of the Journal – Natural and Technical Sciences, Social and Public Sciences, Humanities and Arts.

The mission of the journal is to engage figures in various fields in open discussion of current issues in economics, education, and science; to support creative initiatives in educational policy, theory, and practice; and to facilitate the integration of activities by domestic and foreign scholars, educators in improving the education and science system with the development of business innovations.

The Editorial Board and Editorial Council of the Journal include experts representing leading universities of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, as well as countries near and far abroad.

The target audience of the Journal: university faculty members; academic professionals and experts in the fields of economics, science, and education; doctoral and master's students from both Kazakhstani and international universities and research and educational institutions; students from secondary education organisations; teachers; educators from supplementary education, and others.

The strategic goal of the journal is to be included in the List of leading peer-reviewed scientific journals recommended for the publication of the main scientific results of dissertations for the academic degree of the Сommittee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education, Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Higher Attestation Commission of the CIS countries) and academic titles, as well as in the Kazakhstan Citation Database (KazINC) and international databases (Scopus, Web of Science, etc.).

The Journal has a separate website created and maintained in accordance with current regulations, providing up-to-date information about its activities. Correspondence with authors is conducted through an online system.

With the aim of being included in international databases, the website has an English version on the Sciendo platform (published by DeGruyter), where articles in Kazakh and Russian languages are presented in translated form, and sources are converted into the international Harvard style.

The Journal is published by Zhetysu University named after I.Zhansugurov (under a cooperation agreement) and is a member of the Eurasian Association of Scientific Journals Ltd, cooperates with DeGruyter (Sciendo) and is registered with the Committee of Information of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
