Creative approach to design through the prism of the history of national costume

Abstract

The study of the history of the creation of the national costume of each region is the starting point for the development of new artistic and constructive solutions of modern clothing with elements of traditional art. Being a source of inspiration, the national costume inspires students to create product samples, creates new creative opportunities for aspiring designers. With a peculiar approach of students to the creation of unique design objects, the study of history is an integral element of a creative approach. We have proposed options for the formation of creative principles for the design of product elements through the prism of the history of the national costume. In order to identify students and undergraduates who are ready to carry out their creative activities in the direction of design, we have compiled a questionnaire in order to study and identify their views. The questions will help to strengthen the respondents' motivation for design activities, opportunities for the development of creative work.
